“Good morning. Just a quick note to let you know that we received our guitar in good order - nicely packed and shipped.  We are absolutely thrilled with the guitar, a magnificent job, beautifully designed and crafted. Thank you so much for taking on this project; we especially appreciate the high level of customer service and communication throughout the process. The T-shirts will be proudly worn whenever we display. We are arranging a photo shoot here in Kansas City with the car and will be sure to forward the images to you later this Fall.” – Sam
Max T Barnes and Bobby Bare at The Ryman Auditorium
Our good friend Max T Barnes picks alongside the Legendary Bobby Bare. They just recently played a show at the Mother Church of Country Music, known as The Ryman Auditorium. Max T plays one of our Tennessee Electrics, this one’s an Artisan featuring a Walnut wax finished body with Maple and Mahogany strips sandwiched in between. Click here for more info on Max T and the guitar!
We recently built this guitar to be auctioned off at Classic Instruments 40th Anniversary Open House/NSRA Appreciation Day happening Saturday, July 29th! 100% of the proceeds will go to Boyne City Police Department for much needed equipment. “Hi, Frank, I have had my Tennessee Electric Sgt Rock a little while now, and now here is how I feel about it. This the first guitar that have ever bought that was super sweet right out of the box. The only other guitar I have played is my dad's vintage Martin D-35 and that was to show someone that I could actually play a little while I sang a song. At any rate What an awesome guitar, the setup is perfect, the action is as light as any guitar that have ever played, the body seems like it’s made just for me (like my Mosrite), the color is very cool (coming from a guy who's not a real big fan of green) I like the way the pearl flashes in the sunlight but most of all I like to play it more than any of my other 21 guitars. I have found over all the years that every guitar sounds and plays different, I call that personality. I have different guitars for the many different styles that I can sometimes remember. (I hate getting old!!!!!!!!!!). Awesome guitar thanks a lot to all of the people there.” -Rick
Tennessee Electric Guitar is proud to have built a one-off guitar to support The Petty Family Foundation. Hand painted by automotive artist David Snyder, the guitar symbolizes Richard Petty’s infamous racing career. The guitar will be auctioned off at The Petersen Museum where Mr. Petty will be accepting his lifetime achievement award.
